Hi Everyone, So I'm new to this forum and so here it goes... I'm. Not sure if I'm actually seeing a error on this coin or if I just need glasses lol. I received this Bicentennial Quarter in my change back at a gas station so I'm thinking one couldn't be lucky enough but maybe I am... So here is what I see and I will add pictures to show my findings if they are indeed actual findings. I see on the reverse side of the coin the drummer boy and there is 3 drum sticks. That's the first part of this. On the obverse side of the coin I see what looks to me like there was a nickel struck on the quarter as you can see the bands of a nickel and also the top of Jefferson's head or what I think is Jefferson's head. Then on Liberty the L and the I either seem to be double die or in fact just a split from what I think is a nickel struck on this quarter. Help is this I should be sending off to be further looked at or am I just seeing with a blurred vision. Thanks for any feedback you are awesome and so much appreciated !!!!! I am attaching pics of what I think is an error I know chances are I'm way off but that's why I'm here right? Then I am posting pictures without the arrows so you can get a better look at them again thank you....

Earlier this week, while getting a few rolls of pennies from my local bank, I stumbled across what I thought at first was a normal 1969-D Lincoln Memorial Penny. That was until I took a look at it's reverse side and found something extraordinary. Immediately I noticed the building's "floating roof" error but upon further inspection, I discovered the initials "FG" are missing. Can anyone tell me how rare this coin is and how much it's worth?

Heyyy Everyone!! How u? Im doing excellent. Quick question, and I'm so sorry if I'm not suppose to be asking mess like this...but....ive got a 1982 penny , no mint mark, its not in excellent condition but not too bad either.. can anyone please tell me if its worth any money like the amounts im seeing online?? And if so, WHO WANTS TO BUY IT LOL . I strongly believe we all are walking around with millions in our pocket daily and don't ever even know it. So hopefully this is my lucky day and this girl will be able to pay some student loans off and explore the world or something lol lmk guys. You're all awesome! I know nothing about coin collecting. I want a cheap, genuine, ancient Greek item or coin I can turn into a necklace (not picky as long as it's genuine). Well hello, mass of people who have a ridiculous amount of knowledge on a subject I am completely clueless about! Hopefully someone can help, I'm genuinely just curious. Don't worry, I'll make this long and boring, just for you! 😉 My mother just passed away. I'm planning a celebration of life service for her and I want the "theme" to be "Pennies from Heaven"... Tonight when I actually started going through my various change receptacles, I noticed a silver penny. I didn't think much of it but kept it to the side. There is no mint mark (I'm sorry, like I said, I'm clueless here so I hope that's what I was trying to say 😅) and it's from the year 1959. What has my interest so piqued now is the wildly different things I've read online about this particular penny. Some say it's rare, some say it's trash basically. So. If anyone would be so kind to assist, I'd be more than happy to provide more pictures (ignore my hideous nails and cuticles, the stress of losing my mom unexpectedly has made me do strange things) or whatever else I can. I just would like to know more about it. If it is in fact something special, then I would obviously like to incorporate it into the service for my mother. Thank you all so much in advance! 😘

I was handed this the other night in change. Not quite sure what it is I looked up and start reading a bunch of stuff on on this site I read about the strikethroughs and this and that so I'm not even I'm still wondering about that but I'm trying to figure out what what that is after spending some money and like very bad turnout of wasting money again all I can come up with is one image that is a head am I wrong or right is it worth anything does anybody know anything about this thing or should I just junk it.

So what do you think about this one is that the wounded eagle or isn't it I found this the other night so if you need better pictures I'll be glad to send them I'm still trying to figure out the cheerio thing if somebody would explain that to me please.

Ok, so I found this in pocket change and immediately put it into a 2x2 holder. I've checked for this error online, 3-4 hrs trying to find another, can't. Any tips or advice on this would be greatly appreciated as I'm a rookie collector. Thanks in advance!!

From what I read there's no error to be found on this coin I happen to get in some pocket change I looked at it I thought okay some simple scratches but they didn't go all the way across and see any damage but the high tops so I blew it up and I cannot figure out what it was with the same hit by have fun

1969 Quarter I found in my old change and was trying to figure out if it worth anything. It looks like it may have possible errors? Could just be the wear/tear so who knows any information on the value (if any) and possibly the grade of it would be helpful

Goin through old change and found this 1985 quarter and I’m trying to figure out it’s value, any help would be greatly appreciated! It looked to be in pretty good shape for a coin that old so I thought maybe it’s worth more than the average 25¢

Found a 1967 Quarter with no d or p on it in some old change and I was trying to see if it’s worth any money. Also if any of you could help guestimate the grade of it that would be very helpful too

My father is a Numismatic since his childhood and had this coin with him in his coins collection for over than 50 years now. I was not successful identifying it using softwares or searching the web. I bought this 1876 Seated Liberty Dime on Ebay.I knew it was "rough" by the provided pictures but got it for a decent price. I took it to my friend for his opinion and he said it had been "acid washed". Pointed out the dimples on the edges and rough surface. He tried to explain it to me but I still don't understand. Sounded like a process for shipwreck coins to remove barnacles if they stuck to precious metals. What is acid washing and why would it ever be needed?

I removed this from a mint proof set years ago and has been in safe storage since. Also in the set was a completely gold 1975 no s proof dime. This was before I knew any significant guidelines to numismatics. Back to this penny. Is it normal for the coloring to have gold, purple & silver tones. Very difficult to get clear picture that fully catches just how unusually vibrant the tones are. Is this what’s considered “Deep Cameo”?

I was trying to determine if this was a ddo and if so, which variety. The reverse then caught my attention. Especially the columns. Am I way off? Sorry about pic quality. Coin is so shiny I cannot get a decent shot. Thank you all very much!

Does anyone know what's going on with this coin? It looks like there's an eagle in on his head as well as multiple letters and other random marks. At first I thought it was the eagle from the back of the coin but I don't think that's the case. Please share your thoughts! Chad D.
