Friends…my first post and request for your assistance. in searching OBW rolls of 2023 p pennies, I came across a die crack on the reverse originating from the rim traveling through the last A in America. I then found over 100 in all states of the die cracking…some more prominent than others. i haven’t found any reference or interest online and am wondering if this common or not, even worth setting aside? appreciate any and all opinions

Was looking for anyone's opinion as to what this could be. Having not found anything online even remotely similar, I just chalked it up to some possible post-mint damage. To me, there's just something with the way the numbers look misaligned that has bugged me enough to bring it onto here. Any input is appreciated, thank y'all

Hi Everyone, So I'm new to this forum and so here it goes... I'm. Not sure if I'm actually seeing a error on this coin or if I just need glasses lol. I received this Bicentennial Quarter in my change back at a gas station so I'm thinking one couldn't be lucky enough but maybe I am... So here is what I see and I will add pictures to show my findings if they are indeed actual findings. I see on the reverse side of the coin the drummer boy and there is 3 drum sticks. That's the first part of this. On the obverse side of the coin I see what looks to me like there was a nickel struck on the quarter as you can see the bands of a nickel and also the top of Jefferson's head or what I think is Jefferson's head. Then on Liberty the L and the I either seem to be double die or in fact just a split from what I think is a nickel struck on this quarter. Help is this I should be sending off to be further looked at or am I just seeing with a blurred vision. Thanks for any feedback you are awesome and so much appreciated !!!!! I am attaching pics of what I think is an error I know chances are I'm way off but that's why I'm here right? Then I am posting pictures without the arrows so you can get a better look at them again thank you....

This the new addition to the Cherrypickers guide as FS-504. A handful have been graded at ANACS but none elsewhere thus far that I know of. The CPG has it rated as a URS-6 (universal rarity scale 13-30 known) and an interest rating at I4 indicating high interest and a liquidity rating at L4 indicating typically sell quickly at listed value to variety collectors. The book does not list any values yet until a market forms and stabilizes. Has anybody else seen one of these?

Hi all. I've been collecting coins for awhile now but ive never really found one I truly thought was an error coin. We just bought some half dollar rolls to see what we found and this was in there. I'm not even sure how to describe it but it looks like it has chips missing on all four sides of the obverse. Plus the date is almost running off the bottom of the coin. The reverse just looks crazy. Like the coin is separating. Finally, its extra shiny. Different than the other 1974s we found. Just curious if anyone can offer opinions on what this is. Thanks in advance.

So, I am usually pretty good at finding any information regarding a specific error that is on a specific coin, but I haven't been able to locate any dropped letters on the 1995 Jefferson Nickels. I found a dropped letter 'T' on the obverse of the coin, and it's a very defined letter T. I am pretty thorough when it comes to looking for error coins, and I have only found 1 dropped letter on hundreds of 1995 Jefferson Nickel coins. I have been researching this particular error coin for the past two weeks with no luck I am hoping someone out there is able to let me know if they have found one or knows someone who has. -
Hi all, Long time casual collector here, new to the forums because I've stumbled across an interesting piece and I'd like to hear thoughts from the community. It appears to be a full mirror brockage of a 1925 standing liberty quarter. The coin is a perfect mirror of the obverse design on one side, but (and this is the source of my confusion) completely blank on the other side. Typical examples of these mirror brockages seem to have been struck by a die on one side and a coin on the other, but this seems to have been struck on the opposite face with something flat (another blank?). It also lacks the reeded edge of a typical standing liberty quarter. Very interested in hearing your thoughts on authenticity. Is this something worth sending to be authenticated? It appears to be the same weight, diameter, and thickness of a standard period quarter, so everything seems potentially real to me, but I'm definitely not an expert. Edge comparison under the scope. EDIT Right hand is a circulated SLQ for comparison, left is the unknown coin:

I am wondering if anyone has come across an 1908 quarter golden eagle error? When I flip the coin over it appears to me to be misaligned. Unfortunately the videos I try and produce are to big to attach. So I put the coin next to the line on the table to try and show the misalignment.

I found this 2019 dime in my pocket change and I think it looks like Roosevelt has a tumor on his forehead. Should I get this registered

Hello, While going though some old bags of coins I found this interesting 1976 Roosevelt dime. It has raised portions on both sides of it (Obverse - Blob Near Nose/Mouth area, Reverse - LARGE "C" shape on right side and smaller raised section across from it.) I have no idea how this damage/error could have happened. It seems like the coin has more material than a typical dime. Is this some error or just damage? How did this happen, whether it be an error or just damage? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Good morning everyone. I ran across this today and have racked my brain trying to figure it out. I have circled the areas in question. I think I am seeing letters and numbers in these as well as a possible second earlobe southwest of the normal one. Is there anything to any of it? I have looked at several sites but found nothing remarkable listed about this variety. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank in advance.

Since I always check my pocket change, spotting a coin with "Something is not quite right" has become frustrating. I understand wear and tear, I understand that most people do not respect all US Currency as being a representative of our great nation, similar to but never equal as our Flag, but still to be treated respectfully. However, this coin... and forgive my misuse of terms and improper identification of flaws in advance.... seems to have on the "Face" side a very deep stamp and the edge is rolled over plus that line by "In God We Trust";...? What is that? On the "Obverse?" it is very weakly stamped with the "A" at the end of America almost running off the edge or into Monticello. Bottom line;....Are these errors? Rare? Or is this just normal excessive wear and tear? Please give me your input, constructive criticism greatly appreciated. I am attaching best expedited photos.

I'm not sure what this is. I found it in a coin roll, and it has two pieces of the surface that look like they've been "peeled off" and kinda crunched before doing so. Underneath shows orange copper and the punch's detail is still shown. There's no extra damage to the coin or to the 2 pieces. Obverse and reverse have normal wear (no Knicks or cuts). Thinking it might be Occluded gas bubbles but it doesn't match any coins I've seen. There's a kinda straight line on bottom and a wavy top where I think it was attached to before it fell off.

1972 D penny not only has double rim but appears to have extra copper around the top of Lincoln's head, doubling of several letters on the back and what I thought was a fingerprint on front and back but is off metal planches possibly. I've searched for days for one similar with no luck. If anyone could point me in a direction to get this verified I would much appreciate it.

I was going through my box of pennies from the bank and found this coin. I was wondering if it was an error from the mint and if it might be worth anything. I am new to all this so if it isn't anything special please don't hesitate to tell me I am a insufficiently_thoughtful_person. The penny seems to have been pressed too hard. Lincoln is visible yet flat. My father suggested someone may have put it in the press but the Lincoln side isn't pushed out, just distorted and the shield side has very little flattening which suggests it was in a flat press from a machine shop. I hope there is help that can be found here for me. I took as many pictures as I could, if a specific angel or view will help better please let me know. Thank you
