    the good and bad
Recieved my order of 20 us mint sets. hers what I found. There are both possition A and B on the presidential dollars. Most of the nickles have rim flaws. The Sacajaweas are nice but have the face scuff marks, only 6 were of the MS-67 areas. all P cents have distorted memorial building steps with a few having sharp 4-5 bottom steps. D mints were extra sharp and will grade high. State quarters are fantastic, sharp, miner scuffs and all will grade high. the halves are so-so again.

    Charged twice, same order
Write this number down..1-202-354-7500 (us mint Headquarters, Wash.DC.)
It began on July 22,08, I placed an order for eagles, They were shiped on July, 23,08, I waited and waited..By Aug.30th, NO COINS! I called Customer service (CS)toll free number, I was directed to submit a CNR, Customer non-reciept. Did that, On Sept. 3,08, I viewed my bank/debit card statement, And found I had been "recharged" the allready paid for order. (07-22-08). So called CS and was informed that I was "credited" the amount shown on the statement as DEBIT, I could not get a representative to understand the diferance between debit and Credit! So asked for a "suit" (better known as manager). He didnt get it iether, after really trying hard to get him to understand he hit me with the old stand-by, (ITS OUR POLICY!)WHAT?? That I would get a Credit in ten days more or less.
I tried to explain that YOU CANT CHARGE ME TWICE for the same order and at the same time destroy my available balance on my card, leaving me open to overdraft charges. Its our policy and he hung up the phone. (I wasnt in a good mood anymore so called it like it was, something like insufficiently_thoughtful_person, Dumn, stupid).
Anyway, Today I did a google search, and found that number above, spoke with a very smart customer rep. Ms. Brown, who understood and walked the paper work to accounting to reverse the debit. and...it is not policy!

    FBL, FS, FB, FT etc
1st, Full bell lines, say I have a nice 1960-D franklin with real nice bell lines, good clear, sharp etc. BUT, there is a very minor nick that goes through two lines at the bottom of the bell. does this "cancel" the FBL status?
This same question goes for the nickel, nice steps, all 6 are sharp and all the way across, but that nick goes through, say one step, or even two steps, will this coin lose the FS rating.
    Dimes, torch on dimes.
    Thanks

Franklin type 1 and AH kennedy's
Last week I was looking through ebay auctions and Bib and won on some very nice type coins, The 1st was a lot of 5 sealed 1964 proof sets. Usually I dont buy the so called sealed sets because in the past, I have found that the silver coins are mostly tarnished.
But this fellow clamed his were all original. They arrived today and, YES, I opened all 5 proof sets, FOUND, 4 of the 5 had NICE AH kennedy's and one deep cameo quarter.
The next purchase was for a lot of 1958 to 1962 MINT sets, these were opened sets. Looking at the 59 P mint set, I found the type 1 reverse, proof die franklin with full bell lines, and the type B reverse quarter.
    A good days mail.
My thoughts are that the economy is bringing out old sets that have been in closet boxes for years and these are showing up on ebay. Its a chore searching and the rewards can be nice.

    1922 S Extra RAY
I purchased 4 rolls of BU peace dollars and doing research, looking through the loop and just gazing at these wonderfull dollars all in BU condition, great finds in Key dates.
So Im new to the whole VAM thing, went to VamWorld for info and pictures, as well as NGC variety plus page.
Out of the bunch so far I found 2 peice dollars that "may" be new discoveries, I dont know about VAM's, and being that vamworld now has this hard to get around WIKI thing going on I cant post or upload photos, Yes, I signed on/up and so on.
This one is the 1922-S, It looks to have an extra RAY above the Eagle, The other peice dollars I compared this to, do not have that ray. I will just do the S nmint as that the 1922-P shows the same ray, only wider. Your thoughts please.
