  1. And all taken into consideration. This isn't about selling down the line, this is about a personal collection. The whole point of the post was to evaluate a proper price range that I would be willing to offer the seller.
  2. Thank you for your thoughts. I already have an 82, 83, and 84 hence why I waslooking at this one.
  3. Ummm...I haven't said anything other than ask for rough grade estimate.
  4. Looking at picking this 1885-CC GSA up and would like some opinions on it's grade. I do not have this in hand so I can't provide any better pics, but I think this will be good enough for now. Appreciate ANY feedback on this!
  5. Thank you DWLange. This is more about just the attribution as I have not seen one graded before.
  6. Seeing no verified examples of any attribution, would NGC slab this coin (upon examination of course) as a No FG? Not only is there no FG, Lincoln has been almost completely polished away. You can clearly see the abrasion scratches from the over polishing on the reverse.
  7. Yes, the rims are in tact. There appears to be no indication of any type of chemical exposure, hence my being perplexed...
  8. Bringing this from the dead! I've been searching for info on this exact scenario for a couple months and came across this thread. I have a 1972P Kennedy Half that has a consistent weight (averaged over 10 times and other clad halves weigh normal) at 10.3g. It does not appear to have any excessive wear and the diameter and thickness appear to be within tolerance. I've found a few references to this on the 72P and the 79P but no clear answers. For now, I have just put it into a 2x2 and set it aside as an oddity but would love to know if anything further has been found.
