Hey buddy. Hopefully you forgive my odd sense of humor. That is a cool looking situation there but as mentioned nothing of value. Whatโs important is your interest in coins and I really want to welcome you and say keep looking and search eBay for numismatic literature. Iโm always surprised by how a specific request gets me results. And there is you tube and such. Iโm just too old to tweet or post on Facebook or some other sight. Might be good for you though. Lastly I was told to collect what I liked and what made me happy and I would find enjoyment for a long time and not regret any coin I liked enough to purchase. Enjoy ๐๐ฆซ๐๐ธ๐ป

Making an investment?

Shiny as in possibly cleaned? Because they are shiny ๐ -
Certainly canโt go wrong with those prices ๐. Congratulations. Iโve got the satin label on several of my nickels from that mid 2004-6 run. I kinda like em. Not sure it adds a lot to value. I didnโt get quite the deal you did. L&C coins has a good variety and fair prices. Easy to deal with and zero hassle returns. ( not affiliated). They also publish a 5x7 monthly catalog thatโs makes for a handy reference and price guide of sorts. ๐

JB. I canโt open your PM. So I will start this and please repost your questions. I will post this. At $175 release, and fairly low mintage 125,000 Iโm surprised that they are selling cheap. Hereโs an example from eBay. $175 + call it $30 for grading ( which is low) Whereโs the beef? I realize that the 70โs are hoped for but this example can be the normal.

New Burnished American Eagles
James Zyskowski replied to JT2's topic in Newbie Coin Collecting Questions
I feel like I should apologize for having an enrollment. I received notice yesterday that my 2 are processing. I agree , itโs frustrating to jump through hoops. The enrollment does open up every once in a while. I worked and worked to get everything I might want on enrollment. I can change quantity up to a few days before release. The advance release started just a couple years ago. I donโt know what the big boys did. Iโve heard buyers club kinda sweat shop style. Good luck this morning. ๐๐ฆซ๐ -

J P. What a wonderful comment. Thank you. Really put me in a nice place. Your spot on. ๐๐๐ฆซ -
Their hair is on fire over on pcgs forum. One after another with problems. One of the regular folks said they have personally seen almost 100 privyโs and they are not looking good. I got a rather magnificent one but had to clean the coin and capsule with air to remove lint and odd crumbs. They are available right now and have been up all dang day on the mint website. ๐๐๐ฆซ

Yes Hog. Thatโs army p-38 but not sure if thatโs itโs USMC designation. Used to carry one on my keys, nick and cuts aside,( I used to drink and forget the blade was out) I found it mighty handy. Grandpa and pop both Navy. My personal respect for the Marines is very high. ๐๐๐ฆซ

Well now. Go away for a week and come back to this. Having studied across the street and here, there is one undeniable fact when discussing โthe beanโ. Let all beware ๐๐๐ฆซ This is the one truth ๐คจ

Kennedy silver proof halves
James Zyskowski replied to investinrehabs's topic in Newbie Coin Collecting Questions
I am just going to say, I donโt know. What years, condition, silver? Pictures would help but I need more information. Maybe. Personally, I can think of about 27 things I would buy first but again maybe itโs a tube of 64โs in great shape. ๐๐๐ฆซ
