    Looking through my collection over the years and found a coin I bought a while back which is an 1837 Canadian Half Penny Token. I don't know if it is real/genuine or approximately how much this could go for but I assume only a few bucks if anything. Any help is appreciated, thank you!

    Looks like the penny just got chipped up pretty badly before it got to you. I don't believe the coin would have any value over one cent. If it had double dies of the words or something similar you might have something but to me this looks like a normal cent that got really scraped up. Keep searching though, interesting find!

    I bought this at a local coin shop for $3 and do not know much about it. I'm hoping it's real but the way it looks makes me skeptical. The abbreviations D.N.C are written on the front meaning Did Not Cross I believe, but I am unsure still as to what that means too. I'm hoping I didn't waste money buying this but hey if I did, $3 is just $3. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks.
