    Well, this newbie read the article, so for at least one, your efforts were not in vain. The closest I've come to making this mistake was buying a 1903 CC Morgan Dollar - which I have since dubbed "The World's Fakest Morgan Dollar," as Culver City did not mint any MDs in 1903. What an odd mistake for a counterfiter to make, especially considering all the work it takes to make a coin die, you'd think they would have at least matched the mints and dates!
