  1. After this second embarrassment on this chat board.. I’m officially done with him buying or selling! from my excitement seeing this coin I forget about this simplest thing to to verify with a magnet.. when I called him back and told him it’s fake and it’ll stick to a magnet, he admit, it fake and he was just showing me not trying to sell it sorry again for wasting y’all time
  2. That insufficiently_thoughtful_person admit it’s fake… just amazed how some of you figured it’s fake that quick over a picture 🙌🏼🙌🏼
  3. I don’t even have 25k to drop on a coin not that rich it was just nice to touch if it’s real.. I was selling this time not buying thanks for the reply
  4. Guys same dealer who sold me the fake 10 cent Canadian gold coin has the Lincoln 1943 copper cent he’s asking $25k it’s in really rough shape is that a fear market value?
  5. Total paid today is $1450 plus credit of $350 so those 4 coins cost me $1800 Canadian
  6. Hi guys! He did and I end up buying 4 other coin 🤦‍♂️ total value $1800 Canadian minus $350 $1450
  7. Again I’m not an expert in anyway! I just started to collect 3 years ago, Manley in gold coins… when a coin dealer grantee it’s gold asking $350 and he grabbed it from a large safe with punch other British gold coins! It seemed legit! Again I didn’t lose anything what if it was actual gold and it’s 1/1?
  8. After reading all this comments, and everyone granting it’s plated, I tested it again with the acid but I wasn’t gentle this time I scratch it hard and it did come off! So yeah it’s paper thin plated
  9. Thank you everyone who take there precious time to educate me on this fake coin! Y’all are fine and experts in this. it’s confirmed plated.. called the dealer and he apologized and promised to refund my money on the weekend when the market opens or exchange! At this point I don’t trust him! Lesson learned, if it’s good to be true in most cases it is.
  10. Also if it’s that rare why would it be circulated so many red flags! Can’t wait till tomorrow to verify with a jeweller! so if it’s actually solid gold I should hold to it and not return it?
  11. Thank you for the feed back! I doubt it’s worth 10 cents only Im not that stupid he tested it 18 karat on the machine And I had to test it on the rock at home and it’s positive gold so I have at lease 2 grams plus in gold
  12. Hello everyone, bought this coin today from a dealer at local flea market here in Toronto, canada paid $350 tested 18k gold on everything tried to find an example on the internet but came negative. couldn’t find anything any idea if I’ve over paid or it’s some kinda of counterfeit
  13. Hello everyone I’ve found those 2 coins and I’ve done some research and there isn’t any silver cents minted in those years are they 1 cent error struck on 10 cents???? and what value they could held if they’re actually errors
  14. It’s 8 grams I’ll just keep it as is with my other coins and not get it graded so I don’t kick my self If it comes anything less than MS or cleaned bought it over a year ago from auction as it’s MS62+
  15. I think you’d like those I think I’m getting a lot better at this 🙏
