I have casino Morgan's not from Vegas but rather Reno I'm not that old but in Reno (2001)they had slot machines in which if you won over a certain amount would pay you your winnings in Morgan and peace dollars I probably won 50 -100 silver dollars I'm sure that casino had a hoarde of such coins for refilling the slot machine not sure how many casinos had such machines I found 1 and quit looking at others

Actually annealing happens before you move metal so In the case of a 64 a silver billet is poured then annealed (softened) before turning said billet into a sheet Type 1s were annealed before they were born Mike a blank has a tapered edge from the press it's like cutting a fresh loaf of white bread that Dosent spring back up gonna be hard to calculate and then the weight loss in the reeding and upsetting if that helps complicate your easy math problem even more

Did I ask for anyone's advice on the grade did I ask if it's an error worth sending to ngc did I ask if anyone agreed with ngc NO I asked if anyone could Id the only part of importance but I now see you all need a label to guess it's corrosion In any event, if the coin was already certified as an error, you didn't need their help and wasted their time. Ngc uses a blanket title which usually isn't good enough for me I like to determine what was struck thru your all wasting my time by blowing smoke about nothing I asked look at you talking grades when the thing is graded how dumb

  8. Subject to what foreign object is causing the corrosion The coin came back from ngc with a straight grade not a damaged label or body bag

  12. It's worth what someone is willing to pay it's book value would be under 100 dollars some dealers would ask less then that and some more
  13. You can check eBay for prices It's a common coin you should be able to find a few in like condition for price comparison
  14. Grading would be 1/3 of the value of that coin how ever it was stored since 1854 is probably still ok today

  16. Look like a real 1 cent Weight seems right for a variety 3 ihc in that condition The rim could be flared from going round and round in a coin counter or dryer
