  1. No Fluorescent which is a little difficult to work with white balance and shadowing but as you can see is workable. Newer ones MAY BE BETTER but the price is too. I think you can find these used for like 14 bux or so
  2. You will find lighting in ONE direction will not be adequate … Especially proof or Proof like coins But good luck can wait to see your pictures
  3. They are older ones Ott lights - OTL13TCG My phone is an OLD LG G4 believe or not.
  4. You should leave this type of question on the NGC board Questions for NGC can be put here
  5. Yes Coinbuf is correct as far as direct crossovers
  6. Still got 2 ott lights and use them daily. On close ups you still have a fluorescent float but otherwise still good. Taken with 2 OTTS on either side and Picture taken in the middle with my PHONE :-)
  7. Anything that is not securely encapsulated is a problem waiting to happen ( switch outs etc ) NOT considered a WORLD WIDE top tier grading service. "ICCS encases coins in an inert (Polyethylene Terephthalate) envelope and is then sealed in a plastic flip. The ICCS grading certificate is sealed in the other side of the flip"
  8. Owning one of each coin - I agree with BOTH grades and outcomes. Still desirable pieces even in Details slabs
  9. Yeah with these pictures it looks like a VAM-11 Better pictures would help but it looks like: Near date - O/CC high shifted left
  10. Yeah not a big difference considering the base weight of his 21 morgan which is WAY under.
  11. Take a real one and this one and drop on a table you will notice a distinct ring difference of the coin
  12. Without exceptionally better pictures - Just call it a VAM-2 Large "S" Upright and centered Date is not doubled just a break in the tone around the date AND give it away
  13. Lot of cleaned coins there also Looks like your loved one enjoyed coins. Sorry for their passing.
  14. I mean really Mark - Who says that anymore :-) Actually I thought you were kind of a poppycock kind a guy
  15. Yeah that coin was hammered pretty badly not just with your 'cleaning' but also previous to you owning it. Too bad too its a 1878 7TF '79 Rev
