Jom,
Is that 2007 $5 Eagle a 69 or a 70?

Transaction with stldanceartist was flawless, fast shipping, excellent quality goods. (thumbs u
Thanks Benjamin.

You are to kind Bruce. It is only that fast because I have no life!
Thank you as well as many others but I try not ID anyone unless they wish to announce a transaction.
Edit: I am going to make specific mention of Kenny (coinman_23885) as well since I think through our PM's that he does not mind. We have had a couple (lost count) of transactions and everyone has always been flawless.
Kenny, Bruce, Deerfan, Rick, and many others I have dealt with here are people that believe in the principle of a Man's Word and I have no hesitation at all of sending out the items even before I receive the funds. I know the word will be kept.
I am sure I missed someone or two but that is what is so very good about what Rick (SixMileRick) refers to as the 'Club'. I don't think this club allows 'Grifters' ...

It appears to be a Conder token catalogued in Dalton and Hammer as Middlesex #1159, so it is a British and not a colonial coin (although they might have traveled). It was issued for general circulation and the engraver was most likely Thomas Wyon of Birmingham.
Issac Newton appears on several of these tokens, and yes, various versions exist. This one is listed as "common" but that just means that more than 200 are thought to exist.
Hope it helps.
Yes it does. At least I feel more confident that it is not fake since other versions were made. I should get that other one in a few days and it has a basket of fruit or something like that on the reverse as well as the portrait and name is slightly different.
-
I don't know much about them. Much less than the extremely limited knowledge I have with other US Coins.
I sent Conder101 a picture of one the other day and asked I could get some historical lessons from it but I have yet to hear a word.
So...
Anyone know anything of this? I have noticed that there seems to be two different styles and was curious if that was because one was fake or if they just made the different designs.
Can anyone enlighten me please?
I have the other design coming in a few days and will tke pictures of that as well but it is probably not necessary.

Right back at you Mike!
BruceS once again as well. (thumbs u

I have made many deals through the The Money Marketplace and I have trouble remembering all who I have dealt with, however I have no trouble remembering that every deal was smooth and I would not hesitate buying from members here.
nk1nk, Deerfan, ...... I just can't remember who else. Oh Steve too...... and Bruce,. Can't remember their names here. Oh well . Thanks to all that I have dealt with.

Ok.
I just thought it was strange if they did that he would be on the NGC Forum promoting PCGS so heavily.

If you would like to determine if your coin is a rare original you should contact
A company providing a grading service is the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS). They will attribute and grade colonial coins. Their services and prices are listed on the web at:
I am confused; Does NGC not grade these coins?

And another with BruceS
Good communication and I was lucky enough to have the coins arrive at his house the same day I received the check. Love it when a plan comes together.
Thanks again Bruce!

brg5658 Kudos!
Fast shipping. Nice coin. A+
Thanks Brandon

I wish I had good pictures like some of you do. That one with the dude holding the coin up might be just a bit much but very creative for sure..
I tend to go south of the border for my favorite gold.
Population Graded NGC - 8 ---- Population at PF69 - 6 ----- None higher ----- Only 501 Proofs Minted
Population Graded NGC - 7 ----- Population at PF69 - 6 ----- 1 Higher at 70 ---- Only 303 Minted Proof and 303 Minted Business Strike
Only 500 Business Strikes Minted. Population of MS unknown. ---- Population of NGC Proof Graded 12 with 750 Proofs Minted Total
2013 20 Yn China Panda Gold PCGS MS70 ----- Probably Millions Minted.
The rest are 1/10th Eagles in Proof and MS. Not very exciting to me so I wont post them.

I think I did some business with CCcoindude recently as well. Yonnico, jayman1970, Crisp2005, and probably many more that I can't remember. It will suffice to say that I have yet to have a bad experience with ANY on this board so if I did business with you then you are tops in my book!

Nice capture of the tones on that Lincoln. And yonico.... you think like I do. Why buy one when you can buy all three.

Alaskan Mint. Thought it was well designed. .999 Silver with 24k Gold plated Eagle.

Ok. Thank You!

Hi,
I finally got around to entering some of my coins and PCGS slabs being part of those. Thwo enteries came back as not valid yet when you are on the PCGS web site they come up just fine as what they are.
The coins in question are:
2011-W PCGS PR70DCAM 25th Anniversary set First Strike Cert # 24558229
2011-(W) PCGS MS70 Silver Eagle Struck at West Point Cert # 20809683
They are Mercanti signed slabs. Does that make a difference?
Since they are valid can they be entered manually or something?
Also....
Are there any plans on allowing PCGS coins in the Australian Comp Registry?
Thank You,
William
Sorry but it looks like I posted this in the wrong section. maybe you could move it please.

I would start here. Did you weigh it and measure it?
Mass 26.96 g
Diameter 39–40 mm
Do that first.
But on a side note ... there are a great amount of differences in that and a known to be genuine 1804. If you look at the picture on Wikipedia and that link you sent and carefully compare the two I don't even think you will need to weigh it. There are to many differences. But I am wrong more than I am right so go for it.

Right back at ya! (thumbs u

I have had nothing but great buying experiences here with all that I have had the pleasure of dealing with. Sorry but I just do no remember who all they were. ..
Fishy
Deerfan
SixMileRick .... I think.... If not then we need to do some dealing Rick!
BruceS
Maybe more..... Only had one flake out on me. No money lost or anything other than someone ending up on my 'No Transaction List'. Transaction fell through prior to agreed upon sell I suspect because they sold to someone else after they agreed to sell to me first.

You got it! Was glad it went to a good home.
I want to say that Jon K. dealt me a couple of Quarters my way and they look really good Jon.
Thanks to you both. (thumbs u

Completed a couple of deals this month with 2 CS members.
Wdrob- Excellent coin! Great guy to buy from. Very easy to work with and no run-arounds! Very straight forward. Thanks Bill!
Jwc- Great buyer. Sent me a PM concerning a recent listing amd made a deal in the same night! Sent payment as soon as he received my invoice. Doesn't get much better than that! I hope he enjoys his purchase! Thanks Jerry!
I am just now noticing this board and this thread but the pleasure was all mine. Maybe I can find something else you need one of these days ... I saw your wish list. Christmas comes quickly too.

Absolutely nice color. I was bidding on one on GC that had that kind of orange color but bailed early and focused on a couple of others. Was just curious. Very nice gold.
