I suggest you read a basic chemistry textbook before peddling chemical products to collectors. The chemistry of coins is actually quite complicated, and I would hope that anyone hoping to service collectors would understand that.

Oh great wizard of coin chemistry.....What a novel idea....I will run out to the bookstore now!!  I guess John was also a "peddler".

This should be in the for sale section IMO.  Alternatives are keeping coins with packs so humidity is low.

Corrosion is not humidity dependent.  Therefore dessicants alone will not prevent corrosion.  Corrosion is caused by harmful gases reacting with the surface of the coin.  Therefore you need to take additional steps to properly store your coins.

  3. If you are not familiar with Intercept Technology, pls check out our website; Coin Armour

Intercept is used for the preservation of silver, gold, copper, and bronze coins. It utilizes technology for the prevention of corrosion of coins. The Intercept lining of the bag neutralizes gases in the air which can cause coins to spot, discolor, and tarnish.

Our bags are specifically designed to hold PCGS or NGC slabs.  We also carry our own boxes, and have storage bags for currency and comics.  Intercept is a better storage medium than Mylar.
