I'm loving the Hannover Thaler. That is a VERY nice looking specimen.
Thanks. For a taler, it's like a modern widget to me. An expensive one, but still a modern!

My latest winnings (from my filthy pusher):
Dav-2432 (the insert is wrong):
And this is supposed to be a PL cameo specimen (at least on the obverse):
I don't have either coin in hand yet, but I'll just pull a Tonya Harding to his Nancy Kerrigan if I don't like them...

Nice. Let's hope this isn't an implication on length of a lifetime.

Good God, man, that's a handsome grouping of shooting medals. I haven't purchased a coin in perhaps a month or so. Thank heavens that NYINC is almost here. I've built up a modest war chest, so I can't wait!

Nice Mainz gulden and Austrian taler. I bought two crown-sized coins recently, but haven't gotten images yet.

Holy moly! I love the Charles I unite from the Oxford mint. Collecting world coins is so much more varied and interesting than collecting US.
Good stuff here from everyone!

Lovely ducat klippe.
I just picked up these two bad boys...

I collect moderns. You got modern restrikes of the Mining taler?

Sell me that Mining Taler. It's the right thing to do. Take my money and buy something nice for your wife.

What a wonderful piece of history. Curious, too, in that it is missing inscription in Latin. I see the tetragrammaton, and I see early Modern German. Unlike most other European coinage from that period, I see nothing in Latin.
I wonder why. I thought that even the states of the German League considered themselves a part of the Holy Roman Empire.
