i was bidding on an auction site and noticed it was slow to process bids. Anyway i bid on a few coins that i wouldn't normally have bid on because i didn't think i had won and well guess what? I am the happy winner of all auctions i bid on. It's fine though because they are duplicate dates and well i have one grandaughter and my youngest daughter is also a collector so it works out nicely. I found a way to get them started early. Always give them some coins to play with and ask them questions about the coins they are handling. Sometimes the answers are amazing. Last week i put a cud in my youngest daughter's hand and she looked at it for a second and said broken die and didn't even blink or show expression. I was stunned.
