The results are in.(you should read my past journal, Oh , I did it again, for the whole story of why I tryed cross-overing these coins.

The results of my submission for cross-overs is in. Right below are my predictions and then right after that are the results.--Here's what I sent in, thier all from Ireland,- 1948 1p ANACS-65 RD, 1949 6p ANACS-67 (min.return grade MS-66), 1960 6p ANACS-66, 1954 sh. ANACS-66(min. return grade MS-65), 1955 sh ANACS-66(min. return grade MS-65), 1935 fl ANACS-64, 1939 fl ANACS-64, 1941 fl ANACS-65(min. return grade MS-64),1930 1/2cr ANACS-63, and a 1934 1/2cr ANACS-66. I'm hoping they all come back in new skins but I'd settle for 8 of them I guess.-- Here are the results.--1948 1p ANACS-65 RD is still a ANACS coin, don't know if it was the grade or the color that killed the cross-over. 1949 6p ANACS-67 (min. return grade MS-66) Wow, can't believe this one didn't cross over to a MS-66 as I was thinking it was a MS-67. 1960 6p ANACS-66, all right, one that made it into a NGC slab as MS-66. 1954 sh. ANACS-66 (min. return grade MS-65) came back as a NGC-65, okay, I was thinking that could happen. 1955 sh. ANACS-66 (min.retrun grade MS-65) it's back as a NGC-65, ouch, I was pretty sure it would make the MS-66 grade. 1935 fl. ANACS-64 came back as a NGC-64, Yeah. 1939 fl. ANACS-64 came back as a ANACS-64, that would be another ouch. 1941 fl. ANACS-65 (min. return grade MS-64) it's now a NGC-64, That one stung a bit as it was such a great looking coin, I guess it still is. 1930 1/2cr ANACS-63 and that's what it still is. I must be losing it as this was the one coin I was thinking could go up a grade. What do those guys see that I don't? 1934 1/2cr ANACS-66 and it came back a NGC-66. Thank god, if that one had come back with out crossing over I may have stopped using NGC. There you have it. Not a real happy camper right now. These coins were sent in thinking I could get them all back in new skins. I know that doesn't happen very often that's why I said I'd be happy with 8 crossing over. To get only 6 back and then some of them to lose a point hurts. I had better luck cracking coins out of thier holders and sending them in raw. You know what could be fun? Send the 4 that didn't make it to PCGS for cross-overs and see what happens. Wish I had the $'s to do that. Now the ? is what to do with my other ANACS holders. Should I try PCGS one time to see what happens, crack them out and submit raw to NGC or PCGS or should I just be happy with my odd-ball slabs looking at me when I open my boxes? PS- this is my latest pickup off from eBayer. I just seemed to cheap to pass up.
