Back to the half crown. I'd say it would be a fine (F). 1928 has such a high mintage, there has to be BU/UNC coins available.

The image of the one I did, is a "cupro-nickel" coin. It is BU, and not worth much more than yours. I am sending the obverse of mine to show how much definition there is. Again, I hope this helps.
