Should NGC change the Registry Awards Criteria?

I am one of those who has some 100% PCGS sets in the NGC Registry. Even though I agree that I should have some NGC coins in the set, according to NGC, it is not necessary for me to have any. I am looking for some NGC coin upgrades but those available will be few and far between. I started with PCGS and I have been quite pleased. From all the articles I have read over the last several months, I have come to the conclusion that, if NGC is more consistent with their grading, I plan to get more into NGC graded coins.

Just because I currently do not have the quantity of NGC coins that some would like, I still meet the current criteria set up by NGC. Don't get mad at all of us! Not everyone with PCGS sets have the same motive. If there is enough dissatisfaction with the current criteria, maybe NGC will change some of the requirements.

Since I am relatively new to the NGC Registry, I am also guilty of not having pictures. I do want to post some pictures with my sets someday. I think that sharing your coins through pictures is a wonderful idea.

Congratulations to those of you that have NGC registry sets with pictures and descriptions.

Maybe the rules for the awards will be modified sometime in the future. Maybe these new rules will not allow 100% sets graded by PCGS in the NGC Registry sets. Maybe this will benefit some. Maybe NGC will have an all-time finest list someday (like PCGS). Maybe everyone will be satisfied! No matter what criteria is established, I doubt if everyone will be satisfied.

Wishing everyone the Happiest of Holidays and a great New Year!
