I was asked a question......I'm a beginner too!

Hello everyone!

As most of you know, I have not been a member for a long time. I am new at coins. I am also new at trying to convey the closest images of my collection.

Digital cameras, digital microscope, lighting hoods, scanners, and alike.

They all work and serve a purpose....to a point.

Some of you know my dilemma...PCGS slabs. They wouldn't scan on my Lexmark All-in-one. I experimented for months and ruined a lot of eyes with sub-par imaging.

Although I am no photographer, I have found a scanner that works for me. I have been asked by another member about a good imaging device.

I recently received my 1957 proof set back from NGC with their imaging($3.00/coin). I admit, it is better than my older scans.

However.........

My new scanner is like WOW!!! LED technology. I am just fooling around with it, and I know some wizard will laugh at me, but I can now be confident about my presentation to other members that take the time to visit my collection.

Without further ado. Here's what I did for the member that asked.

It is unretouched and remember.......I am only a beginner.
