Total Inattention to Detail at NGC

After 33 WORKING days, which translates to 42 days in real time, I finally emailed NGC yesterday for some kind of time estimate. They emailed back and said I needed to call someone named Jeff. He informed me that my coins were ready 3 weeks ago but my credit card was being declined and they couldn't get in touch with me. Funny, I've been in touch with many of you via email and had no problem. NGC has the same email address, plus my cell phone number. I don't think they tried very hard. The problem was that Jeff was using the incorrect expiration date for my card. I told him to try again with the correct date. He called me back and said it was still declined. I called my bank and Jeff was STILL using the incorrect expiration date. I finally got things straightened out with him. To make up for the mess, he is overnighting my coins to me. Big Deal.

I can't wait to see them too. When the Online Status WAS working they had an incorrect date listed for one of the coins I had submitted. With all of this inattention to detail, I wonder just how accurate their grading is, and how much confidence I should be placing in NGC slabs. Maybe I need to look at PCGS.
