I collect 1816-1839 Large Cents in MS Brown by Newcomb variety. In trying to grasp the 1823 "Restrike" die progression(without diving into who made how many in what year), this is my belief! Feel free to agree or disagree.

(thumbsu Just so happened I pulled my large cent album out this morning. I was searching for a few hole fillers that had a sweet brown toning with some nice juice left to it.

This date is one of the most interesting in the series...  It would be nice to know exactly how many were minted, however.
