Invalid certification

I have an NCS coin that comes back as an Invalid certification. Why would there be an Invalid certification on a coin in a NCS holder?

I don't exactly why the NCS holder is invalid but I do know that NGC discontinued the NCS holders when they started using their regular holders for problem coins. I highly suspect that this has something to do with it. Of course NGC will gladly re-holder your coin. Gary

You'll want to contact NGC directly, probably through registry@ngccoin.com, and ask them. Include the certification number and all other information about the coin - basically, whatever information is on the slab label I'd make sure they have. They'll look into it for you and fix it if the problem is on their end.

yes I bought a coin at auction once and the cert didn't show up when checked.  I emailed NGC with a photo of the slab and they fixed it
