Friends,

 As of first ---- 15 years ago or so we had a FRIENDS list available on our member home page.  A few years ago the FRIENDS were changed to FOLLOWERS by the NGC group. 

 Now there is not even a followers list on our home page.  Is this Followers list coming back?? Seems the club is moving more and more towards unsocial practices.

Use to be a member could post their journal from their private member page. Now they have to go to Chat Boards to do so. I don't mind it but I know that many members do not use the chat boards. Will there be a link later to post journals from the member page?

I LOST A FEW MORGANS THIS WEEK

BUT I GAINED 15 MERCURY DIMES Friends, I made a choice to trade off 4 morgans for a short set of Merc's this week. In the trade three were the highest points morgans I owned but I really wanted the better grades on those coins later. I received the merc's today and not only were they beautiful they were in a NGC box to boot--thanks JimL4004. I could not wait to see them so I opened the box outside the post office which seemed like forever--being careful cutting all the tape seeing the NGC box

Changing Gears

Third gear went out----Morgans and President Dollars Friends, I have been having a great time collecting so far this year. I guess I have started around 10 different sets but two sets have set Idle. I am not sure I am enjoying these as much so they are getting moved into my Sale or Trade lot. COIN STORAGE BOXES #4

Wow what did I start here? Hey Buds, As we have been going on about the storage boxes I have always wanted a special Brief Case or something of the sort. Does anyone have a nice aluminum case or fire-proof that will hold 100 or more very special graded coins? If it does work well who sells it and how many graded coins will it hold and what are the measurements would help all of us with interest. COIN STORAGE BOXES

The best way to keep em nice. Friends, I have been putting all my graded coins in PCGS boxes for a while. I used the PCGS grading company for 2 years as I built my previous Morgan set. I had around 12 boxes and stored all the coins in them but the NGC coins kept the tops from closing. A SILVER DIME ADITION

A Beautiful starter set of dimes Friends, My earlier post boasted of some dimes sent to me before purchase. A SHORT VACATION

Presidents have left

A short stay for a sweet First Day Issue set Friends, Well the presidential dollars sure didn't stick around here very long. Stock Market Crash Again?

How will our coin values do? Friends, Have you been keeping up with all the hype on the value (downfall) of the US dollar. It seems that we will start to see the adjustments of the end of the corp. bail-outs and the falling of US dollar values in May. Along with all that our dollar is fixing to be replaced. Time to fill another collection box. Friends, I have a couple sets 100% and a bunch of sets 1% to 10%. Each set has it's own holding box after it reaches 5 coins or more. I have gone out on a limb and grabbed a nest full of Silver Eagle Proofs. All are 69s and 1 70 yep EARLY RELEASE = the special egg. It will be refreshing to add a new box to my stash. Currently own 2 Silver Eagle proofs but will add 16 or more by the end of the month and get these turkeys looking ready for flight. HAPPY

A couple Lincolns for my President set

A Friend wants to INVEST

I had a wild phone call Friday while working. Friends, As I do different jobs and meet so many people I sometimes bring up my coin hobby. My new TURKEYS have arived

This is the 2nd 100%%%% this week Friends I was overjoyed as I loaded the new coins in my Silver Eagle set. Pulling them up one by one out of their NGC boxes to download into the set. MY PR69 DCAM Sacajawia Dollars are completely up to date

PAID FOR 3 BUT RECEIVED 5 Friends, I recently asked a friend in the society if he had any PR69 DCAM Sacajawea Dollars extra for sale, I needed 5. I got a return e-mail offering me 3 coins at a fair price, so I sent the check.   I had honestly forgotten the purchase with all the other things going on right now. One more purchase for February

I just can't say NO!!! Friends, It's been another great coin month in my world. I have managed to fully purchase my new MS Silver Eagle set that has a few MS70 Early Releases including the 2008w rev 2007. Which would be the best picks? Friends, I am working on a Type set that needs only 1 modern issue comm. coin in it. I would like to put the best looking detail and artistry coin I can purchase. My points didn't change

AND HERE'S MY 2 CENTS WORTH Friends, I have read enough, I have 2 pennies of which no points were added, or taken away. 1 large cent and 1 wheat. Well winter is at least 1/2 over

I promised myself to renew my membership to grade some morgans this winter Friends; In the blast of all the expenses lately I have not renewed my membership for the free graded coins.
