Variety Diagnostics

Die was first hubbed with the small date design, and hubbed again twice with the large date hub with rotation. Doubling can be seen inside the date especially on the inside of the “0”. Also doubling on LIBERTY.

Comments

This proof issue is highly desirable and currently scarce. It is one of three overdates on the proof 1960 cents.
