Our leading security measures, including our industry-first security hologram, bar code and coin identification number, make insurance protection and cataloging easy. Our innovative EdgeView holder design is also currently the most reliable means of safe storage for your coins. Using inert plastics and sulfur-free paper, it has been tested and proven to provide an effective barrier from corrosive gases and moisture. This holder is identical to the one now used by the Smithsonian to house some of its most important coins.
NGC VarietyPlus attributes major variety coins.
One of the valuable services offered by NGC is the attribution of coin varieties. By varieties, we mean coins which differ from their basic design type in some distinctive way and are thus differentiated by collectors. Thousands of varieties have been photographed and cataloged in reference books, making them highly collectable.
