Description & Analysis

The 1843 Philadelphia dime enjoys a higher survival rate in Mint State than other dates of the period, and it also is more likely to be found well struck.

There's only a single variety of note, but it's a good one. F-102/FS-301 features a complete repunching of the date logotype south of the first impression.
