Description & Analysis

From a small mintage of 848,000 pieces, the 1927 Peace dollar is one of the rarest Philadelphia issues of the series in Mint State condition. Roger Burdette observes, 'In MS-64 and higher, it is in the top seven for rarity in the entire series.' Burdette further suggests, 'The issue is much undervalued in these grades.'
