Description & Analysis

1915 Philadelphia Mint nickels are plentiful in all grades through MS 65. Most are well struck, and only a few will show the extreme die erosion so troublesome on 1913-14 nickels.

A very nice doubled-die obverse variety exists for this date, and it is attributed by NGC under its VarietyPlus Service.
