Description & Analysis

1914-D dimes are nearly as common as their Philadelphia Mint cousins in circulated grades, but the Mint State population is somewhat lower. Still a common issue, it varies highly in the qualities of strike and luster.

Several repunched mintmark varieties have been found for 1914-D dimes, and a few of these are quite prominent. NGC will likely add more listings to its VarietyPlus Service as examples are submitted for attribution.
