Description & Analysis

This was the first issue in the Barber Dime series to approach the 20-million mark, and it is plentiful across all grades through MS 65. The typical Mint State example is well struck and quite lustrous.

Such a large mintage required numerous die pairs, and it's not surprising that several repunched date varieties are known. One of these is visible enough to have collector appeal, but the others are quite minor.
