ANA MEMBERS —
SUBMIT YOUR COINS DIRECTLY TO NGC

The Official Grading Service of the ANA

Thank you for your interest in submitting coins to Numismatic Guaranty Corporation. We are honored to be the official grading service of the ANA and to provide this valuable service to you.

Authorized ANA members may go directly to the submission form for US coins or for World coins. Read the information below if you have not yet been assigned an NGC submitter number.

If you have a paid Collectors Society account, you already have direct submission privileges to NGC, NCS, PMG and CGC. You do not need an ANA submitter number as well. Collectors Society members with paid accounts may access online submission forms after logging in at www.collectors-society.com. If you do not have a paid Collectors Society membership then continue to follow the information below.

To better serve its members, NGC and the ANA recently agreed that grading submissions should be sent directly to NGC in Sarasota, FL. This change eliminates the lengthy processing and shipping delays from the prior submissions being sent through the ANA Submission Center in Colorado Springs, CO.

Before submitting coins directly to NGC, it is necessary to complete the following application procedure:

  1. Print and return the ANA Application available online. The application information is necessary for NGC to assign a submitter number that will be used to efficiently process, track and manage your submissions and account. Submission forms and a submitter number will be mailed as soon as we receive the completed application. There is NO CHARGE to obtain a submitter number!

  2. Review our online guide, Understanding NGC Details Grading, as the information within is extremely important. We urge you to study it carefully before sending in any coins for grading. Coins with detrimental surface conditions are given an NGC Details Grade, rather than a numerical grade. NGC Details Graded coins are still authenticated; however, their grade corresponds to the level of wear on the coin and includes a description of its surface impairment. Following the Details Grading process, the coin is encapsulated in NGC’s protective holder with the purple NGC Details label.

If you need any assistance or prefer to have this information sent to you by mail, please do not hesitate to contact us at 1-800-NGC-COIN, or via e-mail at service@NGCcoin.com
