The NGC Universal ID is a four digit alphanumeric that groups coins based on a unique combination of date, mintmark, denomination and striking process (MS, PF, or SP). These IDs are a simple organization of all coins prior to variety attribution and grading.
1892 $10 MS66 PCGS. Remarkably preserved for this otherwise widely saved and available P-mint ten dollar, an issue that we see with some frequency at the MS63 grade level. However, once the Gem threshold is reached the supply of 1892 eagles dwindles to just 8-10 pieces.
