Description & Analysis

With an original mintage of 5.6 million pieces, the 1901-O might seem like a common date. It most certainly is not, and even AU representatives are elusive. The certified population of this issue is low to start with, and the number of coins dwindles rapidly as one approaches the Gem threshold.
